The Northern California Harp Ring was established in 2000 as a nonprofit organization dedicated to the art and craft of the folk harp in all its forms and traditions Our vision is to promote the folk harp, in all its aspects.
Our Mission Goals:

To promote the playing and enjoyment of the folk harp. |

To promote education, creation, and development in the building of the folk harp. |

To increase awareness of professional folk harpers. |

To increase public awareness of the existence, music, and joys of the folk harp. |
The NCHR was founded in September, 2000, by Janice Williams and Susan Crane. We are located in Northern California (Chico) and anyone is welcome to join us. We meet monthly and welcome all levels of players. Our meetings consist of playing music together, playing for each other, visiting and eating snacks ( we always include chocolate!).
